With the other SharePoint server, the Secure Store service and Unattended Service account were already set up (in fact, there are 3 PerformancePoint target applications on that server), but no matter what I have tried, I cannot connect to the cubes.  Always, the error appears "The data source cannot be used because PerformancePoint Services is not configured correctly." Examing the logs more closely, we have made sure the offending service account has been granted permissions to the cubes. One thing that's confusing to us, is that the offending account, is not the account associated with the Unattended Service account that SEEMS to be the active PerformancePoint target application. (Remember, I said that there appear to be 3 of them.) BTW I have added the supposedly-correct service account as a member of cubes also, but that doesn't resolve the situation.I am at a loss of what to try. The Scorecard works good except when I select Month to Date or Year to Date in my filter because my Previous Year shows an error. The report is for a school system, and it's pretty straightforward:            Passed  FailedTest 1      10         3Test 2      9           4  Where the #s represent the students that either passed or failed.  All of this is working great, but I'm not sure about the best way to go to drill down to see the students for each test that either passed or failed.  I'm starting to look in multiple directions and it's really confusing me.  For instance, going back to Visual Studio and creating an Action looks like that could work, except that Actions don't appear to get imported into the PerformancePoint app.  And the Analytic Grid Report doesn't appear to let you click on the data cells, but only wants to let me drill down through the row members, and that just brings back both Passed &amp; Failed since they are both on that row. Please let me know if this kind of chart is possible in Performance Point. The values inside the bubbles will change dynamically based on the value in the cube.
