At the same time, how do you make sure they are accountable without politics? After he was injured and left the NBA, he searched for real meaning in life and was not done searching till he found something he could really live and die with. And one thing that he did that still amazes me to this day, is that he played hard, lived a full life, and achieved great things with a heart that never was healthy, all without complaint. He does a great job of interpreting the very loud Don Cherry for the viewers as well as keeping him on track. I think most of us in software can think of times when we've had a very opinionated expert giving us requirements that we have to make useable while calming potentially volatile situations. The closest NFL equivalent would be Pat Summerall to John Madden.

RE: Teammates

I'd say Junior dos Santos. His English isn't so good, but he's one of the nicest guys in the sport and one of the best. People with his personality are a pleasure to work with. You'll also definitely want him on your side. Nobody in their right mind would dare cross him.

RE: Teammates

I used to have a boss that was a complete Mitt Romney.
