At SQL Saturday you are learning a lot of stuff as well as in your user groups and code camps. It's usually more like conference fatigue. Although good information can come from conferences, I have found over my career that conferences tend to be sales pitches and dog-and-pony shows. I have yet to attend a SQL event.
