Brock, a good friend of mine wrote a plug-in for Auto Complete and a lot more for Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 - called SqlAssist. He is busy working on the same plug-in for SSMS. I have tested the beta version and it's almost ready. You can check it out at http://www.roundpolygons.comI should point out that Red Gate has something similar.

Just a disappointed comment, was upset to hear the AutoComplete feature would not be availiable. Had looked forward to that feature.

Also, on a positive, was great to see that you could finally include column headings from the Grid when saving or doing a cut-n-paste.

On Source Control:

I have found using a db project in vstudio.net a workable SQL code source control solution. This is an ideal situation when you have non sql source and sql source, as everything is organized together. Even when you have SQL only source, creating just a db project only for SQL source may seem a bit clunky. But the benefits vastly outweigh the drawbacks.

I agree, more on source control integration, thanks.

We use Speed SQL IDE Pro from Imceda, which I think is the best database tool for integrating source control. Does anybody know if SQL Server Management Studio will be able to match Speed SQL IDE Pro? Both on source control and in general.

The images to illustrate Query tabs and tab groups dont seem very clear, is there something missing from the left hand side of the first two images?
