I will query the SourceTable and keep all the data in an Object Variable.2. I have to use the Oject variable to sync the data in both of my destination Tables.3. Here I have succeeded in synchronizing the data to one table but failed to sync both the tables.4. I have used script component and OleDbDataAdapter in Dataflow task.5. The data in the Object Variable is Blank when my logic tries to read it for the second time.6. My Question - Is reading datasets from an Object variable 'Destructive'? cant we use the data in the Object variable multiple times? Please let me know your thoughts.Regards, Raj

Initializing a Object variable in SSIS

I have a variable EmployeFirstName defined as Object in SSIS. So I would like to know what do you think about using drop table followed by select into, finally rebuild the indexes/views which is a technique I used in a package where I loaded many tables with 4-10 million records. At the same time the source table schema was different to the destination table's schema, just to make life interesting. :-)Thanks for your comments.

Output to text concatenating the results

Hi Andy,Interesting read! One this I would like to inform you that when pushing the results to text through your AutoGen scripts the generated scripts were getting truncated to 256 chars. For those ignorant of this limitation including me :) this can be rectified by going to Tools --> options --> Query Results --> SQL Server --> Results to text and setting "Maximum number of characters displayed in each column" to something higher like 1000.I hope my 2 cents worth would help someone.Keep up the good work.Cheers,Hemal

How to use an SSIS user variable in a SQL statement

I am using SQL 2005 and am in SSIS.I have a SQL Dataflow task that has a SQL statement as follows:Select TRACCT,TRATYP,TRDATE,TRDAT6,AMT,SERIAL, TRANCD,DORC ,ATMCODFrom DATMCC.DDHist Where TRDATE &gt; @ORDER BY TRACCT, TRATYP,TRDATE DESC,amt descI also have a package scoped variable user::JulianDate with a date in it.I want to use the value in User::Juliandate1 where the @ sign is in the SQl above. How is this done? Thanks

SSIS 101: Isolating Data in a Data Flow

Comments posted to this topic are about the item <A HREF="/articles/SSIS/65730/">SSIS 101: Isolating Data in a Data Flow</A>

HOWTO: Create an Asynchronous Schedule For a Report Server Report

Comments posted to this topic are about the content posted at <A HREF="http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/ALeonard/howtocreateanasynchronousscheduleforareportserverr.asp">http://www.sqlservercentral.com/columnists/ALeonard/howtocreateanasynchronousscheduleforareportserverr.asp</A>

Snapshot Reports

If the reports are created in the snap shot history, how to access those reports which are already created and are in the history.
