The article is a good illustration of your own point. You really do need to work on your own communication skills. I do feel sorry for you in that this may be due what is going on in our educational institutions. My teacher friends report that they can no longer fail students - simply not allowed to. If they post failing grades, the grades are modified by others ( read that 'management', same difference ).The tone of your article conveys that you may have a fairly long career ahead of you.
