File Name with a .xlsb (binary) extension

Has anybody had any success doing the procedures outlined in the original post - but for step #6 the source spreadsheet is a .xlsb (binary) file not a .xls or .xlsx file? Any one have any ideas on how to bring in a .xlsb Excel file using SSIS 2005 Version 8.0...

Few Typo Errors in article

1) In Pt4 of Configuration its mentioned FailParentOnFailure Select True when the task is inside of a container task such as the Sequence container;" set FailPackageOnFailure for the task to False; set FailPackageOnFailure for the container to True.".The sentence in quotes is confusing.2) In Demo its mentionedImportant thing to note is that, it will start from the failed task earlier. "As it does not run the failed task", it will reduce the run time. After the successful completion of the SSIS package, checkpoint file will be deleted.I am sure in place of quoted sentence you mean to say "As it does not run the previously successful task"...However,i thoroughly enjoyed the article.cheers:)

how to import several excel 2007 into an sql 2005 database

I need to import some excel workbooks with same number of columns and format but of course with different data. The destination will be a table in sql 2005 with the same number of columns.I tried to do this using the ForEach loop container control flow without succeed.So can somebody give me a tip about this or tell me where to found some reliable infirmations ;):doze:

Access Upsizing To SQL Problem

When I attempt to upsize to the SQL 2005, I get error message 5149. There is not enough free space to expand the physical file. If I open Enterprise I can select a dB and through the properties tab expand its size. However, where does one start to ensure the dB being created has enough free space. I have upsized 6 or 7 Access databases, each of which was successful. The latest failed. Any suggestions?

first of all, thanks a lot for the valuable content on temporary tables in SQL Server 2000. In our organization, few days back, we have had a discussion on temporary tables but the way you elaborated it is really marvelous. Thanks again.
