how to identify the objects that are commented in the procedure

I am working with SQL Server 2000. I am using the syscomments table to extract the procedure into string. In my project there are some conventions for objects so using string operations I am able to identify the objects used in the procedure. The issue is some of the objects are lying in the commented area of the procedure. Is there a way in which I can identify the code that is commented in the procedure so that I can identify the objects that are lying in the commented area. Thanks,Tushar

I ran the file SQLManagementStudio_x86_ENU.exe downloaded from Microsoft, however, an error is being displayed (see screendump): http://cid-b712073b3513eb8e.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/SQLManagementStudio%5E_x86%5E_ENU.exe-setup%20error.JPG.Pre-requisites seems to have been already installed on my PC. [newbie]Installation issues

I'm trying to install SQL Server 2005 Express Advanced Edition on a VM running Windows Server 2008. At one point the installation wizard is prompting me (with warnings) regarding the following features:IIS Feature Requirement - which is installedMinimum Hardware Requirement - checked with http://www.microsoft.com/Sqlserver/2005/en/us/system-requirements.aspx and they seem fine.Has this issue happened to anyone else?

I tried to start SQL Server Active Directory Helper on - A Win 2003 Server that is a Primary Domain Controller (Virtual Machine)- A Win XP SP2 (virtual) machine that is joined to the active directory.An error was displayed referring to the following 'service-specific error code': -1073741724.Any idea what this means?

ODBC Connection

When trying to create an ODBC connection by selecting [i]SQL Server[/i] driver, the following error is being displayed:[i]Connection failed: SQL State '01000'SQL Server Error: 2[Microsoft] [ODBC SQL Server Driver],[Shared Memory]ConnectionOpen (Connect()).Connection failed: SQL State '08001'SQL Server Error: 17[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][Shared Memory] Sql Server does not exist or access denied.[/i]The following services are started:SQL Server ($InstanceName)SQL Server BrowserThere seem to be no security restrictions on the user because it can be used to query tables from the SQL Management Studio and by the application which uses the logon.SQL Server 2005 Express running on a Virtual PC 2007 Virtual Machine.Is it possibly an issue with the ODBC driver? Any ideas?

SQL Server 2005 ExpressWindows XP SP2I was restoring a backup from a file. When the file explorer is launched, somehow I could not browse to the ..\Desktop\Backup directory where I had saved the backup.I also tried copying the file to the root folder, however an error message was displayed indicating that either the file was not found or that insufficient security privileges were available.I had to set rights to 'Everyone' so that SQL Server Mgmt studio was able to read the backups, although the user I was logged in (Adminstrator) had rights on the folder.
