SSIS 2005 - GET DETAIL OF EXISTING PACKAGE

  • I need to find out the detail of a package written by someone who is no longer here, specifically the database it writes to. Can anyone tell me in idiots guide terms how I get that information? Given up looking on google or msdn results, can find anything I might want to know about SSIS except this! Hope someone out there can help. Thanks, Jules.

  • 1) I guess it's stored on sql server

    2) run by sql agent

    3) no idea - how can I find out?

ps all I've done is execute this package once - that's my total involvement with both it and SSIS.

    Cheers,

  • Thanks for your help but I'm afraid you've lost me - perhaps this is just a step too far at the moment. I can see the sql agent job that runs but no idea what the 'config tab' is or where to find it. Maybe I'll step away now....

    Thanks anyway
