HI All
I need to test the following things , then i need to implement.
Questions:
1) can i do the mirroring aaaand replication in the same server by installing the one more instance .
2) Need to implement the mirroring , i can implement this from sqlserver 2000 to sql server 2008 or 2005 . if i can implement please refer some links

1.yes you can do mirroring with replication . but there are certain points to remember for implementing this pls. read out the below link prior to implement the same.

2. No, you can implement mirroring with sql server 2000.
Database mirroring is a new feature which was introduced in version 2005 and above.
so , it is not possible to implement mirroring using sql sever 2000.

=> Yes but depend on database size which u are mirroring.

mirroring feature available from 2005 before u implement the mirroring and replication same instance or one more instance check the server configuration and capablities of server before u implement and also a network part
