Excellent article, very handy. I've previously used Log Parser with IIS logs (blog post), but I think getting them all into SQL is a better idea.

Thanks for the article. It's truly worth "noting the TO_STRING function" - where do you get that from in SQLS?

LogParser is certainly a relatively unknown Gem.

I've used it off and on for a few years now and I'm frequently suprised at how few people I meet have ever heard of it yet have a genuine need for the tool.

Microsoft should really promote it a lot more, its an invaluable addition to any professionals toolbox whether admin or dev!
