SQL Server Dashboard

    Hi friends,

    I have installed SQL Server Dashboard Version 1.1 one of the SQL 2005 box. It was working fine and can able monitoring database for one server.

    Is it possible to connect SQL 2000 box in Dashborad at SQL 2005 server? so i want monitoring SQL 2000 database.

    In my best knowledge, you can't use this with SQL Server 2000.

    The reports in the dashboard use the 2005 DMVs, so it wouldn't work with a SQL 2000 server (and most wouldn't work against a compatility 80 database either, I'd imagine).

    Unfortunately that is not possible, SQL Database Dashboard uses SQL 2005 DMV's only.

    I recommend you use @analyticsperformance Tool [/url] (http://www.analyticsperformance.com/) to monitoring SQL 2000, SQL 2005 and SQL 2008 environment including Windows Server as well all into one only centralize tool.

    I have tested this tool and it provides a lot information and quick detection performance issue.
