Do you mean the agent for a backup product like BackupExec? Or, Do you want to be able to schedule SQL Server Native Backups?

There is no separate backup client if you want to use native SQL Server backup. It's part of SQL Server.
Just run a BACKUP DTAABASE statement or use Managemnet Studio.

Are you using SQL Server Express edition or another edition of SQL Server?
If you are using a version other than express you can use the backup the command (See BOL) and schedule it using SQL Server Agent.

if you want a freely available seperate backup agent then try idera sqlsafe freeware

Very useful compression agent. Usually compresses at around 20% of orginal db size depending on data held - and faster than native too.
