Hello - we have a 2 node Win2K3 / SQL 2005, SP2 Active/Active SQL cluster with several named instances. I need to replace the old hardware with 2 new ones.
My thought is to move all the cluster groups to one node and shut down the other. Then install one of the new servers with the same name / IP, and SQL 2005, SAN software, etc. and bring it online.
I just don't seem to have a very clear picture of everything I should be concerned about. Has anyone done this before?
