Great stuff Steve. I really appreciate the effort you go to for the "after party party". It's been two whole years since I last got to PASS, so the lengthy zig-zag trip from Wellington to Sydney to LA to Denver won't seem quite so bad. I'm sure when I use airpoints that the airline has a trigger that rolls-back the normal booking and goes off to find the lengthiest most indirect route Hard to believe, but I will be travelling at least 36 hours. At least they don't get hurricanes in Denver, and the tornado shelters in the airport are just for show - right?
