It would be handy to people that read your article if you mentioned two additional pieces of information, especially since one of your steps is "download Power BI desktop"...
1. A URL for where to download PowerBI from along with instructions on how to install it (presumably, the latter part of that will be on the same URL).
2. A URL where people new to PowerBI can go through some form of tutorial and teach themselves how to use to do such things.

Interesting and well written article, thank you. It put me very much in mind of Brent Ozar's solution for the First Responder Kit, not sure if that was your intention but it certainly seems to compliment that.
The only unfortunate thing is the need for a manual intervention, but otherwise well done.
