Was trying to setup DB mirroring w asynchronous mode (sql server 2014 std edition sp2) but in GUI it is only selected as synchronous (radio marked) and do not allow to change this to asynchronous.
I dropped and recreated the Endpoint still no luck.
Kindly advise how to fix this issue.
Between the nodes the network speed is v slow and hence the asynchronous mode is needed.
can you show us the error messages while changing the mode to asynchronous
