Hi
I have just returned from leave today and discovered I cannot import or export Excel (.xls) to and from my databases. I could do this perfectly well before I went on leave a week ago. (I can import export csv files with no issue). A quick browse and Windows updates appear to be the problem.
2 updates were installed when I was away - KB4041693 & KB4043763 on 11/10/2017 (DD/MM/YYYY).
The OS is Win Server 2012 R2
Before I uninstall them can anyone suggest any other reason why this has stopped work.

Tell us what error message you are receiving, please.
If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.

Sorry, never seen that error before, though I tend to do my Excel imports through SSIS. Maybe someone else can help you.

Try reinstalling the ACE / JET drivers.

In the end had install newest drivers - Microsoft Access Database Engine 2016 Redistributable
