RDMA Capable Network Adapter for AAG Traffic

  • Does it make sense (as in there is performance to be gained) to use RDMA capable Network Cards for synchronous commit AAGs? We only use DAS on both nodes and eventually would move to NVMe based DAS Storage for transaction logs. So from a pure latency perspective does it make sense to use RDMA capable NICs as we want to get most out of the new storage.
