Nothing like listening to the developers sitting 2 rows behind me spend half an hour trying to figure out what max server memory should be, and not come and ask for help (and they don't want help)
Offered to help some devs, but got into an argument why they shouldn't shrink the tlog everyday...the concept of an empty, but large log freaked them out.
"transaction logs must be small, else performance suffers".
Maybe it's a good thing they don't "want" your help 😛
Until she has to fix whatever they're screwing up. Or gets blamed for it.
