Interesting. I've never experienced that. So what code have you written to iterate thru all databases?
I rarely (if ever) have to do this. But creating a cursor using sys.sysdatabases would be the way I would deal with this. Lets you eliminate any databases you don't want quite easily. And if you ever look as sp_msforeachdb it is just a cursor, nothing special about it.
