Moving SSIS packages between projects using TFS in SSDT 2013

  • Hello, I am attempting to move some SSIS package files (.dtsx) from one project to another within a solution in VS 2013 (the SSDT shell). All files are checked into TFS and we would prefer to retain version history of the files. I attempted to follow the instructions here: http://alexmg.com/moving-files-between-projects-in-tfs/, but starting with step 3 it behaved differently, due to, I assume, it being an SSIS project. Specifically, the "Show All Files" button did not show the file, and there was no option to add an item, just a package. Doing so through the GUI added a new copy of the file with a (1) at the end rather than just bringing in the existing file and I presume this new file would not include version history once checked in. Is there a better, recommended way to move SSIS packages using TFS and VS 2013?
