  Hi Experts, I am looking for some suggestions on building a new VM sizing recommendation for an existing physical server where SQL server is installed.

  Physical server stats:

  OS: Win 2008 R2

  Processor: Xeon 2.7Ghz..16 cores

  RAM: 64GB

  Can anyone please give the best recommendations for VM sizing (as we are building a new VM replacing this physical server) ..>Thanks much in advance!
