  • Good question but did it not ask for 2 answers? Could only select 1 so was a bit surprised to get it right!!

    ...

  • Picky I know, but can you reformat the question so that we can select two answers? 😀

  • Yes there must be a setting to chose 2.

    Anyway good spot. T.a.

  • Interesting question, thanks Steve

Haven't used log shipping in years (well, since 2012, in any event), rather use AlwaysOn Availability Groups....

I run sp_help_log_shipping_monitor_primary and get information back. Two questions: from which machine do I run this and what is returned? (choose 2 answers)

choose 2, when only one will do?

  • Try rendering it with check boxes rather than radio buttons. UI 101.

  • Oh no! It says select 2 answers but I can only choose 1! What am I going to do? 🙁

  • Yay! I got a correct answer. I choose to answer the first question. Whoo hoo! 🙂

  • Ah, well. Got to read a bit about log shipping. That's worth something.

Is it only me who thinks Steve's error quota for QotD has risen considerably as of late?:hehe:

Just because you're right doesn't mean everybody else is wrong.

  • Aaawwww, I lost the 50/50.

I think that might be because he submits substantially more QotD's of late...

Yeah, most likely. I've noticed that too. Maybe there's a lack of submissions from the rest of us, and so Steve has to crank'em out.

  • 'meant to be' and 'have to' are two different things..............

or one different thing in this case.................:-)

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

  • How did anyone get it right? Obviously I knew I'd be marked wrong as you asked for two answers and provided radio buttons, so I chose one of the right answers and duly got it wrong - only to see 40% of people getting it right! Looks like I chose the wrong right answer! 😉

  • Which to answer when - guess I picked the right answer - wrong question 🙂
