The only thing I would suggest is to look at TDE (Transparent Data Encryption) https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb934049(v=sql.105).aspxWhich is an Enterprise edition feature.
With Standard edition, you'll need a 3rd party backup tool to encrypt backups.
Sorry my bad, yep this is an Enterprise only feature, was getting confused with backup compression with reading the examples in the first link
