Yes and no. We've almost always required a login, which helps us support the site, and I've been hearing this complaint for 15 years.

We are looking at some work to remove or reduce the efforts required to read articles, starting next week.

Thanks Steve. I know it has been brought up before. I hadn't heard anything about it in a long time and had assumed it was no longer an issue until earlier this week when it happened again that I pointed somebody to an article here and they couldn't view it without an account. Things like the DelimitedSplit8K being behind a login is criminal when you see things like nested loops to accomplish the same thing and you want to point somebody to a much better approach.

Hopefully your team will be able to figure out a solution.
