    Nice question, thanks Steve.

Haven't worked with this yet, so had to read up on it first.

    Same here.

  • Thanks for the question.

  • Nice question about a topic I have not used. But I have attended last year a session about Azure and SQL Server and the speaker explained how to use the azure Blob storage . Thanks to this speaker , I have been able to find the good choice.

The most amusing fact is that I attended this session only because I have nothing more interesting to do except to wait for an hour. And I must confess that this speaker was an awesome one who obtained a rare thing : nobody went out before the end of the session.

    Have a nice day.

I the speaker and the session were that good, you should share the names of both so that we might attend if it ever comes near enough to attend. At least we'll know what to look for.

RBAR is pronounced "ree-bar" and is a "Modenism" for Row-By-Agonizing-Row.
First step towards the paradigm shift of writing Set Based code:
________Stop thinking about what you want to do to a ROW... think, instead, of what you want to do to a COLUMN.

Change is inevitable... Change for the better is not.

    Hi Jeff ,

    3 problems :

    - the speaker was french and the session was in french. Moreover , the "frenchies" are not good in English ( it is especially true for me )

    - if my remembrance is not too bad , it was occurring in a session of the TechDays 2014 at the Palais des Congrés at Paris ( Porte Maillot ).

    - since my wife has stopped to work at the 2014/12/31 ( 60 years old and working nearly 35 years inside the same association ) , we have moved from Boulogne-Billancourt ( Paris suburbs at only 40 minutes from Porte Maillot ) to near Brest in a little town called Crozon ( 23 kilometers in straight line but 1 hour with a car as we have to exit of the presqu'ile ) . During the removal , we have lost some packets and especially papers about Techdays , I have saved some notes about this session except the full name of the speaker.

I will try to have a look at the site of GUSS ( the french part of PASS ) maybe they have left some links about this session. If I find something , I will post it.

    Have a nice day
