Couldn't find an MDS subforum.
I'm pretty sure the MDS free-form text field length limit is 4,000 but for the life of me, no matter how hard I Google (or, sigh, Bing) it, I can't find the actual reference.
I wanted to look it up to see if they've improved it in SQL 2016. Anyone know where the limit is mentioned?
I even looked in their capacity guide. But nope, not in there.
