Hi there,
I currently have a Server that is hosting SSRS and SSAS.
The database that holds the (aggregated) data for both AS and RS is mirrored to the that server via AlwaysOn Availability Groups so that he is handling the quieres for the Cube-Processing and Report-Data.
I am getting a second server (same config) and I was thinking of three szenarios
1. (Completly Separate Server)
One Server for SSRS, one for SSAS. Both get the DB for the data via AlwaysOn.
2. (Mixed)
Both servers for SSRS+SSAS
One is delivering all the databases (Reporting Service DB + Data DB)
3. (Failover + Mixed with local Data-DB)
Both servers for SSRS+SSAS. Both get the DB for the data via AlwaysOn
Reporting Service DB in "Failover Cluster".
Processing / Report Quieres go to "current"-server
Network Load Balancing in front of both systems
