I have verified the database and found that most of the Indexes are heavily fragmented in the Database.its more than 95% and In this case, probably time to re-building the indexes because its greater than 40%, otherwise this kind of fragmentation will cause performance issues.
we have to schedule the Rebuild Index(Maintance plan) task to occur on Sunday, right after the Database Integrity task completes. but here application is live 24 x 7. when it will run the job any impacting on the users ? and it requires any downtime?
Please let us know your suggestions/comments on this.
