I just love university logic.They send my student card by courier. They send request for guest count for grad via SMS and email.
They send the document telling me my final mark and letting me know I have 3 weeks to deliver the final printed copies of the dissertation by post, and only by post.
And for the people living in the first world, that would be the SA postal service which was on strike for ~6 months last year and haven't got much faster since.
I'm guessing they don't want anyone sending in the final printed copies via email or SMS. 😛
Thing is, I never received the letter. I only know about it because my thesis adviser found a copy in his pigeonhole, scanned it and emailed it to me.
