    Hi,

    I have a 3rd party product that has tables and object within the dbo schema of a given database, and I would like to set up dedicated AS400 Schema that the user can create/amend/delete tables in that schema but NOT in the dbo schema

    CREATE ROLE LimitedCreatorRights;

    GO

    GRANT CREATE TABLE TO LimitedCreatorRights;

    GO

    GRANT SELECT ON SCHEMA::AS400 TO LimitedCreatorRights;

    GO

    drop user

    GRANT ALTER ON SCHEMA::AS400 TO LimitedCreatorRights;

    GO

    But one I test this with a user he can also create on dbo schema

    What is the question here?
