    The first and the hardest SQL statement I have wrote- "select * from customers" - and I was happy and felt smart.

    I suspect most of you never change this, or have the need. I haven't done it since v6.5, but ran into a question recently on how to do it, so I built this.

    Never had the need 2 do it, but still a good question to refresh the mind & start the day with, thanx.

    changing it is the easy bit.

    Making use of the renamed pipe is another matter.

    For a local instance, where a '2' has been added to the end of the default name, here is the way to get to it (via (re-)name pipes):

    server=np:\\.\pipe\sql\query2
