Is there a DMV where I can go search for certain strings thats being used in the pacakge? I know I can open a package in BIDS and then open it in XML and search that way but I'll need to perform same kind of search in about 100 packages.Thank you for your help.
There is not a DMV in sql server 2005.
If the package is deployed to msdb, you can query the package contents from msdb direct (sysdtspackages90).
Or if they are on the file system you could use this tutorial.
