I wonder if you can help me with the following Active Directory group membership reporting requirement.....
I have been tasked with producing a list of all user accounts (Surname, Firstname, SamAccount etc...) that belong to a certain AD group and the date they were added to the group. The group contains members from other trusted domains e.g. The group is in Domain A and the members are from Domains B and C.
The data should be imported into a table and presented with SSRS (this part is not a problem).
I have used SQL linked servers with 'ADSDSOObject' in the past to retrieve information about local domain users in the past, but cannot see a way to do a similar thing with this requirement.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
