Unable to determine if the owner (XXX\YYYY) of job Load Dynamics Data has server access (reason: Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'XXX\YYY'<c/> error code 0x54b. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 15404))

  • Hi All

Environment: Corporate Laptop Windows 8.1 professional , SSDT 2010 and SQL Server 2012 Enterprise Version. Window Authentication.

I have created a SSIS package using the RSSBUS Ado.net source for Dynamics CRM and a Destination of a SQL Server table on an instance on my laptop.

When run in SSDT 2010 the package functions successfully. Further for testing I have hard wired the DYNAMICS CRM PASSWORD into the ('other property') of the DynamicsData Source.

    The plot now thickens

When run through the Agent (running under my domain account MyCorp\ssimon) I am picking up the following error.

Unable to determine if the owner (XXXX\YYYY) of job Load Dynamics Data has server access (reason: Could not obtain information about Windows NT group/user 'XXXX\YYYY'<c/> error code 0x54b. [SQLSTATE 42000] (Error 15404)).

The USERID and PASSWORD to Dynamics CRM are different (obviously) than my access to SQL Server

OK now I have researched this one and found this article http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1234570/could-not-obtain-information-about-windows-nt-group-user

I have done as suggested and I have not been successful in getting the package to work under the agent.

    Further I have tried

    https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/9a61e21e-38fb-4ad5-

    84bf-3a75f5bf55b8/unable-to-determine-if-the-owner-xxxxadministrator-of-job-

    xy-has-server-access?forum=sqlsecurity

This will not work either and YES I did try creating a Proxy account (which was my first thoughts).

This said, any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Sincerest regards Steve Simon
