Yes, expand the files manually if you can, at a time of low activity. I would recommend that you leave auto-grow enabled, in case of any unexpected rapid growth. You only need to reindex after shrinking.John
Yes, do leave autogrow enabled just in case, but with sensible parameters (not with a small percentage growth).
