Hi,
I am trying to install SQL server 2005 Ent edition "en_sql_2005_ent_x64_dvd.iso"(downloaded from MSDN). I am getting and error
"Error 193 Installing .NET Framework 2.0" when installing.
On this machine
1. there is already SQL server 2008 installed.
2. VS 2005 and VS 2008 are installed.
3. Uninstalled .net Framework 2.0 before SQL Server 2005 installation.
Do let me know if anyone has answers / solution for the same.

When installing multiple versions on the same system, I've found the least troublesome method being starting with the earliest version and install in the order of the versions, in fact I've never had any problems this way, recently did all versions from 2000 to 2014, very smooth. But as soon as one breaks the chain, the install usually breaks.
