Hi,
Mirroring has been configured for one of our database.
OS team wants to apply some patch for windows. Whats the best approach to do it in both mirror and principal server ?
(steps in sequence without affecting database).

In our environment we do nothing particular while applying patch. We proceed with principal first and then the secondary server. Most of the times reboot is required and we go one at a time ,patch the principal ,reboot and then patch mirror, reboot.

Do you have only one database on the principal server?

Do you have a witness configured?
No witness configured. Manual fail over required.
