I'm starting to look more closely at this now and with the limitations on Column Store index's around
1) Updating fact table (ie. disable and enable the CSI)
2) Limitation they place on the design of the table
How beneficial are they? Im getting the impression they just restrict you in other ways so the benefits may not be without other costs?
looking for any view points.
