SQL 2014 cluster setup fails with component error 0x84CF0004 while updating permission setting for folder

  • Hi to all and thanks for the support.

    I am attempting to install a sql 2014 cluster under phisycal windows 2012 R2 server. I have all cluster disks available as mounting point.

    My setup process finishes with the following error. Could you try to help me?

  • did you ensure to install to a subfolder under each mount point?

    You are right: configuring a subfolder for each mounting point I solve my issue.
