  Hi there,

  I setup a merge replication in SQL2008 R2. It was running fine for a few days but it stopped yesterday with the error message "The replication agent has not logged a progress message in 10 minutes..."

  Couldn't sure the actual cause after couple hours of online search for solution. I decided to reactivate the synchronization by "Stop" and "Start" the synchronizing at the replication monitor. All the articles(tables) data were erased at subscriber database before the synchronization back on. All un-synced data from the subscriber were lost!

  Can anyone help, how to re-synchronizing the replication without going thru the entire routine and not to erase subscriber data?
