Change management is always an issue. And many of us, if we have had the DBA hat on, have had times that required a quick fix, one that could not wait for even a bit of testing.

So, how does this tool, SQL Lighthouse, differ from RedGate's tool that does a comparison between databases? It is really just a comparison tool, right. Or does it look read thru the system tables looking for changes based on date?

As for third party systems, that do not even allow index changes under the EULA. I really hate that limitation. The organization has to live with either breaking the EULA, or living with really slow systems. Or, trying to get a EULA exception, if they can.
