Got a win 2003 EE server with 2 named instances of SQL running
SQL version is 2000 Standard, SP4, with the post SP4 hotfix that was provided specifically to address the issue with AWE (SQL2000-KB899761-v8.00.2040-x86x64-ENU)
Here's the @@VERSION output:
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.2040 (Intel X86) May 13 2005 18:33:17 Copyright (c) 1988-2003 Microsoft Corporation Standard Edition on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 2)
We have added the /PAE extension to the boot.ini file, added the SQL Service account to "Lock pages in memory", restarted the service. After SQL starts up we still get this message...
2014-11-07 16:53:49.95 server Cannot use Address Windowing Extensions because lock memory privilege was not granted.
Any ideas?
