Maybe your server was over utilized at that time and you exceeded number of Max Threads. See if changing “ThreadPool \ Process \ MaxThreads” and “ThreadPool \ Query \ MaxThreads” parameters on the SSAS server ( I am still on 2008 SSAS) to control number or threads queries can generate and then rebuilt the cube.
