According to this, https://community.dynamics.com/sl/f/35/t/92631.aspx Dynamics 6.5 wont even work on SQL2008, and according to this https://community.dynamics.com/sl/f/35/t/49015.aspx it ended product support on April 12, 2011. You'll need to upgrade to a newer supported version of Dynamics before you can move to SQL2008.
