edit: what I find so interesting about that post you linked is all the comments agreeing how awful SO is yet people still depend on it so much for finding answers, especially with the newer tech. Says something right there.Yeah well, SO usually turns up first in the search results. Kudos to their seo team 😀
(I never go to SO and search on their site for an answer. I always end up there through the search engine)
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention this. By achieving high rep/points on SO (and some do this by answering a lot of easy questions), you get mod powers. You can basically edit/delete other peoples answers and comments, without other people noticing it. In my opinion, that is just BS.
I'm in the top 10 at this site, but I can't do anything here expect modify my own posts. I can't even delete my own posts. And I like it that way.
