• For me, the concern would be the underlying subsystem. That database has become corrupted for a reason, and in this case I would be looking at the IO systems.

    Have you checked the logs for IO errors, and haev you checked any other databses on those spindles for corruption? Also, is your database backup on the same storage, if so, I would use your tape backups. Restore somewhere else and check.

    Are you also te storage admin? If not, speak to them and get them involved in tracing the IO error and fixing it
