In a new job I am having to work extensively with SSRS 2005; however pretty much all the SSRS development I have done is using SSRS 2008 and the differences are like night and day. The limitations in Chart design (no were near as robust), Maps (I wanted to create a dynamic link to a Google Maps but cant no map options), gauges (none at all) etc are really causing me some problems.
Talk to my boss about upgrading to SSRS 2008 R2 and basically got told that isnt happening anytime soon 🙁
I was wondering if anyone knows of any free extensions/add-ons that are available that will help me get around these limitations. I have found some around the web (Dundas, Nevron etc) but they only offer a trial and unable to pay for them.
Any help would be much appreciated
