Restrict Date Dim to pull only dates available in fact

  Hi,

  I have Date dim that has date info from 1900 -2100. I join with DT_PK_ID with fact table.

  tabular model is deployed well. Customer trying to work with the model via Excel.

  When Customer try to pull date dimension, its pulling year from 1900. Instead I want this pull only the dates as per fact table. Fact table has 2 years worth of data. So when date dimension pulled to report, it should show only 2013 and 2014.

  How to achieve this, is it only through SQL while importing Date dim to model?
